The Gordon College Highlanders are active participants in intercollegiate sports, including women's and men's cross country, women's and men's soccer, men's basketball, women's fast-pitch softball, baseball, women's tennis, cheerleading, and most recently wrestling and swimming.
Gordon College is a member of the and the . Membership in these associations entitles state winners in any sport to participate in regional and national competitions.

Back In The Fire!
After picking up their first win on Wednesday, the Gordon College Men’s Basketball team must now face # 7 Tallahassee (FL) Community College on Tuesday (November 10) at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Hall. It will be no easy task as the Eagles are led by preseason NJCAA All-Americans Bernard James and Marvell Waithe. James, a 6-foot-10 center, earned a spot on the second team while the 6-foot-9 Waithe was a third team selection.

With the Gordon College Men’s Basketball team opening their home season with a 93 – 79 victory last night, it’s now time for the women to take the spotlight. The Lady Highlanders will host Atlanta Metro College tonight at 6 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Hall. Admission for the game is $5.00 for adults while children 14 and under are FREE!

After a disappointing road loss to Northwest Florida State College last night, the Gordon College Men's Basketball team will open the 2009-2010 home season on Wednesday against Brewton-Parker JV. The game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Hall.
10. 29. 2009 - Men's SoccerDarton Dashes Highlanders Hope
The Gordon College Men's Soccer team battled the Darton Cavaliers for a spot in Friday's semi-finals at the Region XVII Championship in Albany. Darton held a 1 - 0 advantage at halftime and never relinquished the lead as the Cavaliers went on to post a 3 - 1 victory. The Highlanders missed two key opportunities at the net and could not overcome the deficit. With this playoff match, Gordon College closes out the 2009 fall season with a gallant effort and a solid performance!

Basketball season is here and the first home game is Wednesday, November 4, against Brewton Parker with tip-off set at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Hall. The best way to catch all the action is to purchase a season ticket for just $40.00. It’s good for all regular season home basketball games – men and women! With a combined total of twenty contests, it works out to just $2.00 a game! If that’s not enough, you’ll also receive a basketball t-shirt with your season pass.
10. 26. 2009 - Men's SoccerMen's Soccer Playoff Bound
The Gordon College Men’s Soccer team qualified for the Region XVII Tournament Championship and will play in the first round against Darton College. The match will be played in Albany on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the semi-finals on Halloween night to meet defending region champion Georgia Perimeter College at 6 p.m.
10. 26. 2009 - Women's Cross CountryCross Country Set For Region Championship
With the regular season completed, the Gordon College Cross Country team can now set their sights on the Region XVII Championship this weekend. The event is hosted by Darton College and will be run at Skiles Farm in Dawson, Georgia, this Saturday, October 31. The women will open the competition at 9 a.m. while the men are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
